The Boevo Story…

Boevo is a small rural town located in the Rhodope Mountains in Smolyan, Bulgaria.  

So you may be asking, "What does a small mountain town in Bulgaria have anything to do with Technological Innovations?!?"

The secret is that this small rural town is arguably the birthplace of technology!  When the world was young and new, commerce and business was controlled by diverse organizational structures that had access to natural resources in abundance.  Marketplaces were formed by those who could control the supply channels and had access to these resources.  The controlling powers in the Boevo area recognized that this area was extremely bountiful in the resources that the world was demanding at that time: Precious Gems, Minerals and Ore.  There were several obstacles to the access of these raw materials.  The Rhodope Mountain range is a very harsh and demanding terrain and the workforce was very limited and dispersed widely over a very large area.  Also there was a very small amount of  monetary investments being brought into the area because of the unusual terrain and it was not a place that most people wanted to make their home.  All of these factors alluded to the fact that technological innovation was needed if the resources in this area were going to be brought to the world.

Technological Innovations are the pivot point of any major breakthrough seen throughout history.  It is the driving force behind impossible accomplishments and the assistant to getting the job done and controlling the marketplace.
